Currently, users with view access to a node can always see its alarm state, even if they are not subscribed to receive alarm notifications. We would like the ability to control alarm visibility independently of node access by introducing a dedicated "View Alarms" permission that can be assigned to security roles. This would allow administrators to restrict the visibility of alarms (such as Bad or Uncertain Quality Alarms) to specific user groups while still allowing other users to view the underlying data. This would improve security and provide greater flexibility when exposing data to different audiences, such as internal operators, clients, and external stakeholders.
